About us
Tipton Community Theatre was formed in 1993 by a group of theatre lovers. It is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit all volunteer organization. In the past 20 years we've presented 72 productions including musicals, comedies, dramas, Shakespeare plays, and youth productions. TCT has a presence at the 4-H Fair, Ducky Day, The Tipton County Pork Festival and other community functions. We provide speakers and programs for various organizations and schools through the Readers Theatre Group and other volunteers as well as fundraisers with The Mystery Dinner Theatre.
Several young people who have been involved with the theatre have continued their studies and are involved professionally in movies, stand-up, theatre, and music. Tipton Community Theatre looks forward to another 20 years of providing outstanding affordable entertainment for Tipton and the surrounding area.

celebrating 30 years
We were proud to celebrate the 30th season of the Tipton Community Theatre in 2022-2023. During the past three decades, we've created so many memories that have made a lasting impact on the Tipton community. We are beyond grateful for the hundreds of volunteers and donors and the entire community for the support they have provided to help us grow significantly since our start.
We've come a long way since our first show, "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder, when there was no set, minimal expenses and costumes that were easily put together. Our goal is to continue growing and providing amazing performances multiple times a year.
