Directions to Tipton High School

From Highway 31: (click here for MAP) 
Take Hwy 31 to Hwy 28.  There is a Marathon gas station, Sherrill's "Eat Here & Get Gas" and the Flamingo Motel at this intersection. Turn East on Hwy 28.  Tipton is 5 miles East of Hwy 31 on Hwy 28.  Go to the second stoplight in town.  This is Main Street.  There will be a National City Bank and a Harris Bank on your left and an HWI Hardware store and the Tipton County Courthouse on your right.  Turn right on Main Street and go approximately a mile.  The High School is on the East (left) side of the road, across the street from the Tipton County Memorial Hospital and the water tower.  Park to the right of the main doors to the high school.  This is the Tipton High School Auditorium. 

From Interstate 69: (click here for MAP) 
Take Hwy 9 North to Hwy 28 in Alexandria.  Turn West on Hwy 28.  Tipton is approximately 18 miles West of Alexandria; 10 miles West of Elwood. Go to the first stop light in Tipton.  There will be a McDonalds and CVS Pharmacy on your left and a Dairy Queen on your right.  Turn left onto the Hwy 19 bypass.  This road curves to the right and ends at the entrance to the Tipton Park.  Just before the stop sign, you will pass the Tipton High School tennis courts.  Turn left into the second drive, just West of the tennis courts.  Follow this drive just past the main doors to the high school.  This is the Tipton High School Auditorium. 

Directions to C.W. Mount Center

Directions from Indianapolis or Kokomo: (click here for MAP)

Take Hwy 31 to Hwy 28 (approximately 20 miles north of I-465 OR approximately 11 miles south of Kokomo). Turn East on Hwy 28--the landmark is Sherrill's Eat Here and Get Gas. Take Hwy 28 approximately 5 miles into Tipton. Hwy 28 becomes Jefferson Street in Tipton. The C.W. Mount Center will be on your right as you come into Tipton from the West, located at the corner of Jefferson and 1st Street. It is before you get to the first stoplight in town. If you pass Jim Dandy and the Courthouse, then you've gone to far. Turn on First Street and park behind the C.W. Mount Center.
